I don’t usually like writing linear stories, one-shots are so much easier, but well, I wanted Squidward and SpongeBob to have a little more closure. Sorry this one’s too long, I didn’t know how to end it and just kept going seeing how far I could go.
So yeah a little more romantic than my other SquidBob fics. I was just trying to test the waters, hope this doesn’t offend anyone and if it does, don’t waste my time, just look away. It’s not that hard.

OK you keep stressing in all your fics how much of a ''child'' Spongebob is but pretty sure he's a man child meaning he's a man who just acts like a child.
Otherwise SquidBob would be pretty disturbing.
I'm sure though Spongebob is older than he looks so stressing him being young isn't really necessary it makes this sound like pedophilia but I'm pretty sure he's old enough. You did mention him being maybe in his 20's here and there but you make it sound like 20 is 16 or 17 by the way Squidward acts. Depends how old Squidward is of course but he can't be more than 40 and though that's still a considerable age difference it's not really a child-adult relationship, it's more like a young adult-adult relationship which isn't so bad.
